As of March 23rd
If the rain would stop and let the trails dry out for a while we could address the places where there are/were puddles! We like to fix the puddles before people start making alternative trails around them. That leads to unnecessary resource damage.
E-mail us at email@example.com or you can contact Art at 638-0738 or Van at 638-2858 to make your report. You can also comment on our Facebook page.
We need all the help we can get, so if you've ever wanted to volunteer your time for a really good cause, we'd love to have you. Any time you can contribute is really appreciated! And you'll get bragging rights for working with us!
Of note is a logging operation that will commence in March and run 6 to 8 weeks. The area to be logged is just to the south of the trail easement known as the "Outback." Pope Resources will be clearcutting one area of their land and hauling the timber out to Hansville Road in the area above the smiley face. There will be periods of trail closure when the equipment is being used close to the trail.
We will post more information as we get it. There is a map of the proposed operation under the "general information" tab at the top of this page.
